Falleras by Louisa Dorr

Valencian women dressed in the traditional costumes of falleras are undoubtedly the main protagonists of our patron saint festivities called Fallas.

Sincerely I have not found anything of such high quality on the internet, for something was worthy of an article in National Geographic and she was Award-winning photographer 2019 Photo Contest (Stories , Portraits, 3rd Prize).

Historically in Valencia photographers have worked the falleras theme as a very classic photography, mainly doing studio photos and orienting their work to enhance the beauty and create a photo book that "pleases the models".

Here you can see some classic examples.

Thank you Luisa and congratulations for this work that also addresses the integration in our festivities of girls and women whose roots are not Valencian.
